"Nature has always been a primary influence in my life.
I grew up in Hawaii surrounded by tropical plants and the ocean, then I moved to Arizona, where I was influenced by the succulents, cacti, and the austere desert; now, in the Pacific Northwest, I respond to the evergreens, herb gardens, and the crazy, unpredictable weather.
Currently, many of the fundamental shapes in my jewelry are geometric, but the texture or embellishments are infused with organic elements and natural forms. Shaping metal, a "hard" material, into fluid form intrigues me, as does the juxtaposition of a geometric shape with organic forms.
I make all the items by hand, in Seattle, with high quality materials, attention to detail, and a lot of love!"
